Why You Need To Go: You can enjoy a music-filled day at StreetFest this weekend. The festival is transforming the stretch between Woodbine and Beech Avenues into “the ultimate music destination.”
The event features a huge lineup of live bands and musicians and you can hear everything from jazz to rock.
You can also enjoy a “foodie paradise” and indulge in treats and dishes from surrounding restaurants and food trucks.
There will be a variety of market stalls on site where you can shop for “handmade crafts or trendy fashion finds.”

Why You Need To Go: It’s movie time! This weekend, head to Sorauren Park to see a free outdoor film. The movie playing is The Lunchbox and you can set up your lawn chair or blankets to enjoy the show.
From 6:30 to 8:30, you can get your hands on some pizza at the wood burning oven from local Italian eatery Alimentari.
There will also be popcorn, snacks and soft drinks available for purchase at the Snack Shack before and during the movie.
Before the film begins, you can see a live stand-up comedy show.

Explore the ROM

Why You Need To Go: There’s no need to spend a ton of money in order to explore a museum. This summer, the ROM’s main floor is free to visit and you can explore some of the areas and exhibits without paying a cent.
Free galleries and exhibits to visit include the Currelly Gallery, First Peoples, Korea, and China.
The museum will also feature live music, theatre, and dance shows all season long.
