USHER: Past Present Future 

If you grew up in the 2000s, Usher needs no introduction. The singer-songwriter (and dancer!) is an influential figure in contemporary R&B and pop, first rising to fame at only 15 years old.

Lumière Festival

Tan Dun’s Buddha Passion 

Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer Tan Dun is performing at the Orpheum this Friday and Saturday as part of his epic choral work, Buddha Passion. Inspired by Chinese and Sanskrit texts set in the Himalayas, the performance will feature the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, six percussionists, five vocal soloists, and a dancing pipa player.

STAND Festival

Presentation House Theatre in North Van is co-presenting a series of events with Blackout Art Society as part of the 4th annual STAND Festival, which celebrates emerging immigrant and refugee performing artists. The festival aims to offer the chance to connect newcomer artists with the community so they may share their stories.

Vancouver Canucks vs Edmonton Oilers
