JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group has completed the sale of the 340-room Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla.
JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group announced the completion of the sale of the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla, a 340-room hotel located at 4550 La Jolla Village Dr. The property spans 3.46 acres in the University Town Center area, a region known for its concentration of business and educational institutions.
The hotel has 340 all-suite accommodations, each with separate living and sleeping areas. Amenities include a restaurant and lounge, a fitness center, an indoor pool and whirlpool, and a business center. The property also provides 354 parking spaces, including a 28,845-square-foot parking garage. Meeting facilities cover 4,316 square feet across six event spaces, with the largest, the Embassy Ballroom, accommodating up to 200 guests.
The hotel’s location is strategic, at the intersection of several major business, educational, and leisure hubs. University Town Center is home to major corporate offices, including those of Illumina, Apple, and LPL Financial, which generate consistent business travel demand. The hotel is also near the University of California, San Diego, Scripps Health medical facilities, and La Jolla’s beaches, Torrey Pines Golf Course, and Westfield UTC shopping center.
