Nobu Hospitality has disclosed plans for a significant development in Manchester. In partnership with property developer Salboy, the development will introduce a Nobu Hotel, a Nobu Restaurant, and the UK’s first Nobu-branded residences.

Dubbed Viadux 2, the development is anticipated to stand as the tallest building outside London, raising the bar to 246 meters. This project represents an investment of £360 million in a prime location in Manchester’s city center, dependent on favorable planning outcomes this spring.

The 76-storey tower will comprise 160 hotel rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and a signature Nobu restaurant and bar. Each development component will reflect Nobu’s minimalist yet luxurious design aesthetics.

Moreover, the development will introduce 452 Nobu residences, signaling the brand’s debut in the UK’s luxury real estate market. Each residence will feature refined design elements with thoughtful Japanese details and will have access to premium amenities. These include Nobu dining and room service, an exclusive swimming pool, spa, podium garden and gym, and unparalleled access to the city through a dedicated experience team.
