Taking to Instagram to announce the news, the band posted a tour schedule with the caption, “The first Stanley Simmons tour is this fall and we want to see all of you there, in real life. Presale Wednesday 10am local time, general sale Friday 10am local.”
Kicking off September in Dallas, Texas, the Dancing While the World Is Ending Tour will wind its way through the South, up the East Coast, then through the Midwest, and concluding on the West Coast in West Hollywood, California.
According to Blabbermouth, Stanley Simmons made its live debut in early May at the House of Blues Voodoo Room in San Diego, earning praise from music critics who called the set “fun, high-energy, unforced, and clearly connecting.”
Stanley Simmons’ debut album, Dancing While the World Is Ending, arrives just before the tour kicks off, on Aug. 28. The record drop follows three singles released thus far: “Body Down,” Dancing While the World Is Ending,” and “Temporary Love.”
Sons of KISS rock royalty Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, Evan and Nick first harmonized together in 2024, saying that even though they were childhood friends, they “were shocked” at the musical chemistry between them.
“The chemistry was instant. The way our voices locked together … it was undeniable,” they said, per the outlet.
By February, the two were writing songs and officially forming their band. A rock, folk-Americana fusion heavily influenced by ’60s and ’70s classic rock, the band’s sound leans into acoustic tones, vocal harmonies, and melodic storytelling.
“Nick and Evan have basically known each other their [whole] lives, but didn’t really get close until last year,” Paul Stanley said in a recent interview on The Drew Lane Show, per Blabbermouth. “Their album … is frigging phenomenal. It’s as good as anything I’ve heard in the last three or four decades. It’s that good.”
