80 Acre Villatel Orlando Resort Opens Next to Universal Orlando Resort

The Villatel Orlando Resort will open on March 3rd, 2025. The 80-acre resort, located near Universal Orlando Resort, features a full-scale water park, various dining options, a fitness center, and sports facilities.

The resort offers two types of accommodation. The Villas offer up to nine bedrooms for groups of up to 26 guests. Each Villa comes with luxury amenities such as private spa pools, full kitchens, movie theaters, and game rooms. For a unique touch, each villa features up to two themed bedrooms, designed and created by Immersive Scenic Studios.

Alternatively, guests can choose to stay at the nation’s first Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy Resort, set to open in early 2025. These apartments feature two to three bedrooms, full kitchens, and private balconies with resort views.

The resort’s water park, Aqua Bay, boasts several slides and a children’s wet playground, Splash Cove. For relaxation, guests can use the Lazy Loop or the Grand Resort Pool. Sporting facilities include basketball and pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a Top Golf Swing Suite. Dining and refreshments are available at the Aqua Bar & Grille.

Villatel Orlando Resort is offering a 20% discount on stays to celebrate its grand opening. Complimentary shuttle transportation to theme parks and access to Dezerland Park Orlando are included in the booking.

Stephen Lobell, CEO of Villatel, stated that the resort aims to bring people together in a playful, comfortable setting. It is designed to cater to various guests, from family groups to sports teams.
