One of the most iconic TV comedy series of the 1980s was The Greatest American Hero, a show about a teacher who has superhero powers thanks to a group of aliens who gave him a magical suit to wear. Actor William Katt starred in the lead role as Ralph Hinkley, and the show also featured actress Connie Sellecca.

Earlier this week, Katt, now 74 years old, was spotted arriving at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, where he’s in town for the Carolina Fear Fest Horror Con. He totally blended in with the other travelers, and he’s so unrecognizable, it’s doubtful anyone realized they were right next to one of the biggest TV stars of the ’80s.

Warning: you’ll have the theme song from The Greatest American Hero in your head all day after watching this clip!

Best theme song ever… am I right?!

People who watched the video certainly got a kick out of seeing Katt. One viewer said, “Such an underrated actor,” and another added, “Still looks handsome.”

Another Katt fan added, “Best theme song ever is right, and he’s still handsome, what a smile.”

For all of my fellow Seinfeld fans, you’ll be happy to know George Costanza got the cred he deserves from one commenter, who said, “Believe it or not, George isn’t at home.” LOL.

And if you’re wondering what Katt is doing at a horror conference, remember, he also starred in the Stephen King flick, Carrie, as Tommy.

Man. He really went from one extreme to the other with this role.

Poor Carrie had no clue what was about to go down after that sweet slow dance.
