Loren Brovarnik, 36, has become a 90 Day Fiancé mainstay since she joined the Season 3 cast alongside her now-husband, Alexei Brovarnik. In the nine years since, 90 Day fans have watched Loren, on the main series and several spinoffs, leave her life in New York City behind to create a future with her Ukrainian husband in Florida. Now fans are watching Loren overcome another obstacle: adult orthodontia.
As far as 90 Day Fiancé storylines go, the pair met (pre-braces) the “old fashioned” way, at least compared to newer couples seeking their partners out on international dating apps (we’re looking at you, Jasmine and Gino). Loren was visiting Israel via Birthright, the program that sends Jewish adults on a trip to the country to learn more about their heritage, when she met Alexei.
“We were just married nine years, which is insane. And we’re together 11 years,” Loren told Parade exclusively. We sat down with the reality star to chat about her marriage, kids and yes, her new adult braces.
In their years together, the couple have welcomed three children into their lives, Shai Josef, Asher Noah and Ariel Raya. The kids were born in quick succession in 2020, 2021 and 2022. “Going from one to two is hard because you now have doubles, but going from two to three, you just might as well send me to the moon,” Loren joked. “It’s like a whole other level. You’re totally outnumbered, especially when you have three toddlers.”
Since having three kids back to back, Loren experienced a lot of physical changes, leading her to opt for a “mommy makeover.” “As soon as I had Shai, Alex knew I was going to have a mommy makeover,” Loren explained.
But the decision was driven by Loren, not her husband. “He knew he wasn’t against it, but he wasn’t for it,” she said. “He was supportive.”

While it’s not clear exacly what Loren’s “mommy makeover” entailed, browsing online reveals that the makeover can include a number of cosmetic procedures, not limited to breast augmentation, a breast lift, a labiaplasty, liposuction, a tummy tuck and more. If that sounds like it’s expensive, that’s because it most certainly can be. The process for Loren was “years in the making,” she said.
“We saved up every penny and really talked about it,” Loren explained. “The only thing we didn’t really talk about so much is the recovery, because they didn’t really know what to expect and because every person is different.”
Now in a recent Instagram post thanking her plastic surgeon, Loren is proudly showing off her abs in a crop top, clearly feeling a newfound sense of confidence.
Loren’s makeover didn’t stop with her body, however, she’s now rocking adult braces. “If I’m going to do it, I might as well just do it. Head to toe, including the teeth.”
Unlike some of her other work, however, the adult braces were not strictly a part of the mommy makeover.
“Trust me, it’s not cosmetic,” Loren clarified. “I do not enjoy braces as a 36-year-old.”
The braces are doing more for Loren than just straightening her teeth. “I was born without half of a jaw bone that never fully grew in. And I’ve had 23 oral surgeries, so this is actually my third time with braces,” the 36-year-old said.
“If I’m going to have them on, I might as well do it and get it done and over with. It’s one year. What’s one year, right?” she told Parade.
After working so hard to get her body back in order, you might think that Loren and Alexei had firmly closed up shop when it comes to having more kids, yet the door seems to be left open just a crack. “I think we’re done, but Alex always says don’t limit yourself,” the mom of three explained.
“He did say he wanted five, and after three he was like, ‘I don’t think so.’ Because with my luck, I’ll end up with twin girls. And then that’ll be the end,” she laughed.
