Liam Gallagher is known for shooting off his mouth on and off of social media, but something he posted on June 8 has fans concerned.
“Guys I think I’m gonna close my twitter account and think long and hard about my EXISTENCE this morning has been a real eye opener,” he posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Still, Gallagher’s threat to close his X account had some fans concerned.

“What you done?” asked one.
“baby please don’t go,” another wrote.
“Now that would be the real tragedy. Sure go silent for a bit if you need but you should stay & show you can do better. The growth is way more important than the error. The world needs men that can show this. Who better than you ⚡️,” a third posted.
“Getting my first response from the Grandmaster yesterday made my day, so please don’t go. We all need an early upper & a good chuckle to start the day 🙏,” another one pleaded.

What caused the uproar? Apparently, it was just a stunt on Gallagher’s part.
Earlier on June 8, he posted, “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 6.30 am.”
That was followed by “I WORK OUT.”
Following that, Gallagher posted, “Gotta admit that was good craic gotta you all riled up to ras.”
He followed that with an apology. “If I caused any distress and upset anyone this morning I’m deeply sorry that wasn’t my intention I thought it was a bit of fun I got it wrong please forgive me LG.”
Gallagher and the rest of Oasis head out on their reunion tour later this summer. They hit North American stadiums on Aug. 24 and 25 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, before Chicago on Aug. 28, East Rutherford on Aug. 1 and Sept. 1 and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. on Sept. 6 and 7.
