Kate Hudson isn’t shying away from intimate conversations.
The Bride Wars star opened up about having sex in her 40s in a new interview with Bustle, where the 45-year-old shared not only her favorite part about doing the deed at her age but a candid observation about the way she thinks things are meant to go in the moment.
With an “unabashedness” that is unlikely to surprise fans, Hudson emphasized how important that quality is to bring into the bedroom.

“The best part about sex in your 40s, honestly, is the freedom,” she told the publication, emphasizing how imperfect the act should be.
“Sex isn’t supposed to be pretty, and I think that when you get older you kind of have more fun with that,” she admitted.
Hudson’s not the only one offering fans insight into her private time. R&B legend Ron Isley recently sparked mixed reactions with a bold admission about his own preferences while getting down and dirty with his wife, Kandy Johnson Isley.
“Oooof,” one fan wrote simply in response to the 83-year-old’s revelation.
Gayle King, 69, also shared a “TMI” tidbit while visiting Drew Barrymore‘s show, admitting to nixing her underwear for the night, even when she’s alone. “…I like to feel the breeze down there. At night, I do,” she said
Barrymore happened to agree, revealing that she’s advised her young daughters to “let it breathe,” too, and that, when they’re at their dad’s house, she enjoys the opportunity to “lock all the doors and… around like a little jaybird.”
