Taste of North York returns to Toronto this weekend, offering all the best the community has to offer from food to music, vendors, and more. Here’s what to know.

Kicking off June 6 and running until June 8, NeighbourLink North York, a charity and community development organization, brings Taste of North York to Mel Lastman Square.

What to expect

There will be a curated selection of food vendors, artisans, live performances, dance workshops, local organizations, family-friendly activities, and more.

Indulge and enjoy the offerings from several vendors of cultural groups from Chinese, Korean, Indian, Persian, Latin, Ukrainian, and Filipino communities.

NeighbourLink will also collaborate with local artists to bring 22 hours of performances from Bollywood to Latin, Persian, and Ukrainian dances.

And on Saturday, stick around for Willowdale Battle of the Bands, you won’t want to miss it.

You can also expect live art, caricature artists, a robotic playing field, aerial hammocks, a family-friendly escape room, giant foosball, and other activities throughout the three-day festival.

Also on Saturday and Sunday, NeighbourLink will host the Meet & Eat, where participants can engage with local charities, non-profits, cultural organizations, and clubs.

There’s lots to see and only three days to experience it. So, plan your weekend accordingly and head outdoors — it’s going to be a lovely weekend.
