If you’re not ready to say goodbye to summer in Montreal, this might be your excuse to stretch the season a little longer.

Oktoberfest de Repentigny is back for its 18th edition from September 5 to 7, bringing food, music, beer and Bavarian vibes to Parc de l’Île-Lebel — and it’s just a 30-minute drive from Montreal.

Here’s what to expect:

This year’s edition of the German spinoff festival promises over 400 craft beers from across Quebec, with 90 local exhibitors and a stacked lineup of live music, food trucks, workshops and entertainment.

The weekend kicks off Friday with Tassez-vous de d’là, a Colocs tribute band, followed by Princesses and singer-songwriter Émile Bilodeau on Saturday. Sunday wraps things up with the Valadez Band, performing a tribute to Sublime.

Beyond the beer and music, the site will also feature:

  • A Bavarian-style beer tent hosted by Erdinger
  •

  • A circus performance by Duo Kandeu
  •

  • The fan-favourite Bretzel Show
  •

  • BBQ workshops, inflatable games, face painting, and even a giant Ferris wheel
  •

You can also catch the Perçée du Baril (official keg tapping) to kick things off on Friday night.

It’s all going down in one of the most scenic spots in Repentigny, right along the waterfront. Whether you’re going for the beer, the bratwurst or just the vibes, this is the kind of festival that knows how to close out summer in style.

The event runs rain or shine, and yes, Bavarian outfits are welcome.
