It’s no secret that there’s always something wacky and wild to do on summer nights in Toronto — and the fun isn’t over yet. This September, prepare to bring the whole family to marvel at the Toronto International BuskerFest. Full of daredevils and some of the most curious circus acts, this event is like no other hitting the city this fall.
This September, a four-day event where some of the world’s greatest buskers gather to showcase their all is sure to stun audiences. The action-packed busking festival, the largest of its kind in North America, is equal parts outrageous and spontaneous.
Toronto International BuskerFest will take over Woodbine Park from Sept. 4 to Sept. 7, where 100 performers will be present throughout seven stages of the festival.
If you’re in for endless entertainment, performances include The Fire Ninja, an energetic ninja-style fire act that’ll feature everything from fireball shooting to a mushroom cloud explosion during the show’s close.
Maybe you want to stay away from the fire, and that’s okay too. Catch a juggling performance by Kai Cao — but keep in mind, it’s not your run-of-the-mill juggling act. Cao brings all sorts of fun to his performance, like tap dancing and insane sequences, all while trying to keep balls up in the air.
There’s also circus and comedy acts by the world-famous Cate Great, who has performed in over 11 countries, plus the Canine Circus and Dogs Do Magic at Bark in the Park TO for dog lovers alike.
If you’re looking for a different vibe, music lovers and Bad Bunny fans might want to head to the Family Fun Zone on Buskerfest’s first night. DJ Euphonious will be hosting a Bad Bunny-themed Latin night for the Bad Bunny Foam Party.
Outside of activities and performances, there are a ton of vendors to grab food from, and in true Toronto fashion, it’s a diverse mix of everything like Mr. & Mrs. Bao, Choco Churros and Coal Pot Jerk to name a few.
Plus, visit some of the fest’s pet-friendly vendors like Hound & Purr and OMG Dogs Boutique, just a couple of the almost two dozen pet stations you’ll be able to see.
