Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announces the Taj Bandstand project, a new landmark that will redefine Mumbai’s skyline. Construction is expected to commence in 2025.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the Taj Bandstand project, a new landmark to redefine Mumbai’s skyline. The Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, and Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, announced the announcement.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & CEO at IHCL, stated that the Taj Bandstand would be the iconic Taj brand’s torchbearer in the next century. He expressed confidence that the development would be a tribute to Mumbai’s spirit, people, and global prominence.
The project will cover 2 acres and include 330 rooms and 85 apartments, multiple dining options, convention spaces, and world-class facilities. The development plan also includes maintaining the surrounding area with landscaped gardens, sporting and recreational activities, and entertainment options that reflect the city’s rich cultural heritage.
With this new addition, IHCL will have 17 hotels in Mumbai, including 5 under development.
