A beauty who has stood out the most on Season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife decided to leave the competition, despite strong chemistry with John Sansone.
On tonight’s episode 5 of the hit FOX reality show, farmers John, Matt Warren, Jay Woods, and Colton Hendricks had to decide who to choose for solo dates after last week’s drama at the barn dance.
The previous show ended in a cliffhanger with John’s contestant Samantha telling a woman on Matt’s team, Halleh, that she wanted to self-eliminate.

Who was eliminated on Farmer Wants a Wife 2025 Episode 5 tonight?
Samantha, 24, a salesperson from Dallas, TX.
The blonde beauty had startled fans earlier this season by refusing to kiss handsome farmer John. But holding back seemed to work for Samantha, as John grew obsessed with her.
Still, it was not to be. Samantha pulled John aside on Thursday’s episode and first praised him as everything she wanted in a man. She acknowledged how sparks had flown between them. But she knew that he liked to be in the driver’s seat—and so did she! Samantha felt John should have another lady who would let him lead. John appreciated Samantha’s honesty.
“I’m gonna miss you, cowboy,” she told him, and they hugged goodbye. The other women were stunned when Samantha told them she was going home.
Although they’d shared fierce chemistry, teary Samantha said in confessional, “He will be finding his wife on this farm. It’s just not me.”
John shrugged off his disappointment and vowed to get to know the other women better.
What happened on John’s solo date tonight?
John admitted that his previous focus on Samantha had meant he hadn’t grown with the other women, and wanted to change that. He went golfing with Kaylee, who said she’d loved hard in her last relationship. She cried to John that she didn’t get enough love back and wanted to be in a serious romance. Farmer John liked Kaylee, but thought she seemed fragile and “that’s a lot of pressure.”
Did Colton’s one-on-one date go well tonight?
Colton showed Zoe around the shops in his small town and bought her a necklace. He wondered if the “driven” medical worker from Florida would be able to live in his area, but Zoe assured him she was open to a life change.
Although they didn’t kiss, Colton was happy that the beautiful blonde would consider moving to his farm.

What did Matt and Alex do on their solo date tonight?
The two visited a vineyard. Matt told Alex in his previous relationship, ultimately, his personality didn’t line up with his girlfriend’s. Alex confided to Matt that she’d previously been married for five years, but had been divorced for more than a year and wanted to settle down and have children. Matt told cameras he didn’t want to kiss a lot of women in the show process, but clearly liked the pretty nurse.
How did Jay introduce Karina to his life?
The former football player turned farmer whisked Karina away for a private date, showing her how he coached football at a local field. They threw footballs to little boys and then had a casual dinner on the back of a truck.
Gymnastics teacher Karina said she came from a family of six children. The Wisconsin gal felt they could figure things out about where to live, and Alabama-based Jay raved to cameras, “I feel a bond growing.” They kissed again, as they had at the dance, and Karina told cameras she had feelings for Jay.
