They might not be traditional Christmas carols, but one of UPtv’s final new world premieres in their UPlifting holiday lineup has jingles, of sorts. A Country Music Christmas has line-dancing and hoedown fun with the music that made singers like Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton famous.

What is A Country Music Christmas about?

Songwriter Brooke (Alexandra Harris) has the decision of a lifetime to make when Rob (Ryan Wesley Gilreath), a charming executive makes promises fortune and glory that require leaving her best friend and writing partner, Chance (Jonathan Stoddard) behind.

Meet the cast of A Country Music Christmas

Alexandra Harris (Brooke)

Harris has been acting in television and film since her teens. She and Jonathan Stoddard previously starred together in The Soulmate Search. The Oklahoma native counts Murder in the First, The Veil and Hellraiser: Judgement among her previous credits.

Jonathan Stoddard (Chance)

Stoddard has starred in at least three Christmas movies this season alone! Not afraid of hard work, Stoddard seems to be constantly working. He currently has over a dozen films in the can ready to premiere in 2025 and beyond.

Fun fact: This is at least the third movie Stoddard has starred in with Harris. They’ve previously starred together in The Soulmate Search and Santa’s Cousin.

A Country Music Christmas premieres on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. ET on UPtv.
