Toronto is known for being a bit of a mini Hollywood, with tons of shows and movies filming in the city each year. As time goes on, the productions get more and more epic, with the lineup for this spring and summer being no exception.

Mr. Irrelevant

This feature film is for the sports lovers. Mr Irrelevant tells a story about John Tuggle, “drafted in the last round of the 1983 NFL draft by the New York Giants, and his enduring impact on his team and teammates.”

The Greatest

Another one to get excited about if you love sports. The Greatest is about the life of Muhammad Ali, a professional boxer and social activist. Two of the series’ producers are Jay-Z and Michael B. Jordan, so you know this is going to be good.

The Strangers: Chapter Three

If you’re a horror fan like myself, then buckle in. The Strangers shot all of the movies back to back in 2022 but will be doing reshoots for certain shots and scenes right here in Toronto, starting this month.

Tell Me Lies Season 3

If you haven’t watched the first two seasons of Tell Me Lies, I highly recommend it. Season three is set to film in Toronto starting in May as the story of Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco continues to unravel.

Sheriff County

A spinoff to Fire County, Sheriff County is filming more episodes in Toronto following the success of season one, which came out in January 2025.

Ginny and Georgia Season Four

Netflix’s popular show Ginny and Georgia is gearing up for a fourth season. The show has famously shot all of its seasons in Toronto, telling the tumultuous story of mother-daughter duo Ginny and Georgia Miller.
