According to Risma, they have announced a series of new initiatives as part of their ongoing partnership in Morocco. The announcement was made during a visit to Morocco by Accor Chairman and CEO Sébastien Bazin on April 2 and 3, following an invitation to Risma’s Supervisory Board.

As part of the expanded collaboration, Accor and Risma will launch Sofitel Tangier, a new hotel on Tangier’s corniche. The property will offer views of the Strait and is intended to add to the city’s luxury hotel portfolio.

The companies also announced a program to renovate and reposition existing hotels. This initiative is described as an investment to modernize and optimize the hotel portfolio, focusing on segmentation and competitiveness.

In addition, Accor and Risma will co-fund the creation of a Tourism and Hospitality Training Academy. The stated purpose of the Academy is to provide training and professional integration for local talent, with a focus on preparing future generations of tourism professionals.
