New hotel, Pullman Tokyo Ginza, to open in late 2027
Accor has revealed plans to bring its high-end brand, Pullman, to Tokyo’s Ginza district. The new hotel, Pullman Tokyo Ginza, will open in late 2027 and will add to Accor’s premium offerings in Japan.
Pullman Tokyo Ginza will be situated in Ginza, a popular shopping and lifestyle district. The hotel is expected to attract both local and foreign guests. It will consist of 145 modern guestrooms, a restaurant that operates throughout the day, a destination bar, a gym, a Club Lounge, and a Lobby Lounge. Additionally, the hotel will have flexible and innovative spaces for meetings, events, and business purposes.
Pullman, established in 1859, has a history of providing spaces that balance work, life, and leisure. Today, Pullman Hotels & Resorts serves a diverse clientele, including global visionaries. The brand emphasizes sustainable and purposeful experiences, eco-friendly designs, and smart technology.
Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer of Accor’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy Division in Asia, said that the introduction of Pullman Tokyo Ginza highlights Accor’s dedication to providing premium accommodation in Japan. The hotel’s prime location and high visitor traffic make it a significant addition to the Japanese hospitality market.
Accor has experienced considerable growth in its premium segment in Japan, with brands such as Pullman, Swissôtel, and Grand Mercure. The new Pullman hotel signifies a key step in Accor’s expansion in Japan and Asia, demonstrating the strong demand for Accor’s premium services.
Accor, a leading hotel operator in Japan, currently manages 45 hotels across nine brands in the luxury, lifestyle, premium, midscale, and economy sectors, totaling 11,635 rooms. The group also plans to open four more hotels by 2029.
