Hyatt Hotels Corporation has appointed Adam Rohman as Head of Americas, effective July 1, 2026. Rohman will succeed Pete Sears, who is retiring after nearly 40 years with the company.

Rohman currently serves as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, and Treasurer. In his new role, he will oversee operations across Hyatt’s Americas region, including hotels within the Classics, Essentials, and Luxury portfolios, and will be responsible for global brand strategy for the Classics and Essentials portfolios.

Sears and Rohman will work together to ensure a smooth transition. Sears will continue to support Hyatt in a Senior Advisor role for a period of time after June 30. A search for Rohman’s successor is underway.
