LionGrove, a hospitality investment firm, has announced its acquisition of ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection. The resort is located in the Sonoran Desert and is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, a group of over 320 hotels worldwide.

Chris Sariego, Senior Managing Director and COO of LionGrove, expressed excitement about the purchase, stating that ADERO Scottsdale is a modern, luxurious property with a strong connection to the desert landscape.

ADERO Scottsdale Resort launched in October 2020 following a $100-million investment. It boasts 177 rooms, including 16 oversized suites and 32 casita-style rooms with fireplaces. The only Dark Sky Zone resort in Scottsdale offers guests spectacular views of Arizona’s Four Peaks and McDowell Mountain Range.

Just 30 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the resort offers an array of amenities, such as two heated pools, a sundeck, and a 5,000-square-foot wellness studio. It also has a spa, over 16,800 square feet of event space, and the signature CIELO restaurant, which serves locally sourced cuisine.

The acquisition of ADERO Scottsdale is LionGrove’s first hotel property in Arizona and reflects the firm’s strategy to expand into high-growth markets. Andro Nodarse-León, CEO of LionGrove, stated that the purchase aligns with the company’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences for discerning travelers.

ADERO Scottsdale Resort joins LionGrove’s portfolio, which includes the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort, Wyndham Palmas Beach and Golf Boutique Resort, and Fairmont El San Juan Hotel.
