Yesterday, Rosanna Maietta, President and CEO of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, issued the following statement in support of Keith Sonderling’s nomination to Secretary of Labor.

He understands the critical role the U.S. hotel industry plays as a major employer, with travel and tourism responsible for 1 in 25 jobs around the country. Our industry’s continued growth depends on clear, consistent labor policies that foster both economic opportunity and workforce stability.
