If you’re a young person looking to get your foot in the door in the airline industry, you may want to look into jobs at Air Canada.

For the second consecutive year, Mediacorp named the airline one of Canada’s top employers for young people in 2025.

“We aim to offer a work environment and learning opportunities where everybody can thrive and become a future leader in this dynamic industry,” said Arielle Meloul-Wechsler, executive vice-president, chief human resources officer and public affairs at Air Canada.

Every year, Mediacorp editors evaluate Canadian employers based on programs they offer to attract and retain younger workers.

These include benefits such as tuition assistance, co-op or work-study opportunities, mentorship and training programs, and career management programs.

Mediacorp says Air Canada was selected as one of the top employers for young people because of its paid internships in various disciplines, such as engineering, marketing and business.

It also recently relaunched its rotational graduate program, which allows recent graduates to work in three different roles for a total of 12 months.

The list also cites Air Canada’s buddy system, which helps young professionals integrate into the organization. The airline facilitates in-person network opportunities at the organization’s training centre, museum and hangar, and hosts a career orientation event.

Luckily, Air Canada currently has lots of job openings across the country.
