Air Canada and WestJet’s Black Friday sales have taken off just in time for you to save big on your 2025 travel plans.

Canada’s major airlines are both offering amazing deals on flights around the world.

Air Canada is having a worldwide seat sale as part of its Black Friday blowout.

Travel between December 6, 2024, and June 15, 2025, to save in cash or Aeroplan points on over 180 destinations.

For example, a flight from Vancouver to Calgary is as low as $79 one-way if you take advantage of the sale.

Hoping to escape the cold winter months? Air Canada has flights from Toronto and Montreal to Mexico and the Caribbean for less than $300 one-way.

The seat sale isn’t the only Black Friday promo Air Canada has launched. It’s also offering up to 40 per cent off on select vacation packages and $500 off on select tour packages.

And if you’re an Aeroplan member, you can get a share of 75 million bonus points by booking an eligible flight or vacation package in cash.

More information about the sale is available on Air Canada’s website.

WestJet is also having what it calls its “biggest sale of the season.”

It’s offering savings on flights between November 25, 2024, and June 30, 2025, with no blackout dates. The deal is applicable to UltraBasic, Econo, Premium and Business fares.

The carrier has one-way flights for sale under $149 and $129. For example, a sunny Christmas getaway from Vancouver to Palm Springs, California, would only cost $149.

And, for a limited time only, you can also find flights under $99 while supplies last. You can nab a trip from Toronto to Montreal for just $79 one-way.

Check out WestJet’s site for more information.

Both airlines’ sales are happening until December 1, 2024, so don’t dilly-dally on these Black Friday deals.

If flights aren’t your priority, there are also major Black Friday deals on cheap phone plans in Canada that you can check out.
