With spring just a few months away, many individuals are looking for ways to shake off the winter blues and refresh their home decor. When you’re on a tight budget, though, it can be difficult to find affordable items within your price range. Fortunately, Aldi has you covered with a beautiful table lamp that’s sure to impress. Best of all, it’s similar to a Pottery Barn style almost 10x the price.
From February 5-11, Aldi will be selling their CASALUX Touch Table Lamp for just $12.99. It’ll be located in the Aldi Aisle section of their U.S. stores for a limited time only. This unique piece comes in three distinct colors, including beige, black and white.

CASALUX Touch Table Lamp, $12.99 at Aldi

With its sleek and modern design, there’s a lot to love about this CASALUX Touch Table Lamp from Aldi. As you can see in the image above, the lamp features a slim pole (or stem) and a matching shade that surrounds its bulb. It also comes with an elongated/rectangular base, which provides stability and helps prevent it from tipping over.
Like most touch lamps, this particular model doesn’t appear to have an on/off switch. Instead, it’s activated by a simple touch and probably works on batteries (given the absence of a visible cord in the photo). As an added bonus, the lamp comes in three neutral shades, meaning that it goes with just about anything—this makes it a perfect choice for living rooms, offices, dorm rooms or bedroom spaces.
Zafferano Poldina Pro Cordless Light, $125 at Pottery Barn

As we mentioned earlier, Aldi’s Touch Table Lamp is incredibly similar to the Zafferano Poldina Pro Cordless Light. It’s currently $125 at Pottery Barn and comes in nine distinct colors. This includes sand, sage, silver, black, steel blue and more. It’s also available in two separate sizes, including mini and standard. The former measures 12 inches in height, while the latter is approximately 15 inches tall.
Like the Aldi version, this cordless lamp has a smooth finish (thanks to its powder-coated aluminum structure), which provides it with a sleek and modern appearance. It also features a small shade, a touch-activated light and a slim pole/stem. And due to its rechargeable battery, you don’t have to worry about plugs with this product! Charging takes approximately 6-7 hours, which allows the lamp to operate for a total of 12 hours.
The biggest difference between these two products is their base. While the CASALUX product appears more elongated at the bottom, the Pottery Barn version is more square-shaped. It’s also worth noting that this lamp comes with a touch-activated dimmer, allowing you to adjust the light to your particular needs. It’s unclear if this feature comes standard with the CASALUX model.
Zafferano Poldina Pro Portable Table Lamp, $175 at 2Modern

Finally, there’s also this Zafferano Poldina Pro Portable Table Lamp from 2Modern. It currently costs $175 and comes in 20 different colors, including dark grey, white, steel blue, rust and more. When displayed, it measures approximately 15″ tall and features a rechargeable battery that’s capable of lasting upwards of nine hours. Like the Aldi version, this lamp comes with a thin pole, a small shade and a touch-activated light. It was even designed with a “neutral” finish, allowing it to fit “any interior design scheme.”
As with the other Zafferano model above, the biggest difference between these two lamps is their base. This particular product features a square-shaped bottom that’s relatively small. Given its thickness and aluminum/polycarbonate construction, though, we’re willing to bet that it’s just as stable as the Aldi version.
Despite these inherent differences, there’s no denying the similarities between these three lamps. If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to “brighten” your home, Aldi’s CASALUX Touch Table Lamp is definitely worth checking out!
