Nightstands and accent tables are essential if you love having your phone and water close by. It’s the easiest way to keep your essentials close to you while you’re in bed or sitting in your living room. But having to save up for an expensive accent table isn’t fun. Luckily, Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds drop includes a side table that’s similar to a Wayfair style over twice the price.
From January 8-14, Aldi will be selling their SOHL Furniture Accent Side Table for $49.99 in the Aldi Finds section of local U.S. stores. It’s a mid-century modern style with a shelf inside and a rattan, mesh cover on the door to those cabinets. It has a thin, black metal handle to open the cabinet door to reveal ample space inside.

As for dimensions, this side table measures 18.9 inches long, 15.63 inches wide and 25.98 inches tall. It is a light color and it has slanted legs that match. The bottom of the legs look like they have white anti-skid stoppers, which is good for a sturdy nightstand or accent table. Assembly is required for this one.

One photo shows that it can fit three hardcover books horizontally and one leaning upright, with more room to spare. Plus, there’s an equal-size shelf above that one too. This could be a great nightstand, side table or storage for your at-home bar.

Edford Nightstand in Natural – Mistana, $114.99 (originally $147.90) at Wayfair

As we mentioned above, this Aldi side table is similar to the Edford Nightstand in Natural by the brand Mistana. It’s currently $114.99 (it was originally $147.90) at Wayfair and is nearly identical to the SOHL Furniture accent table, with a similar wood body and rattan door. Even the handle to open the cabinet door is a similar style (though this one is gold and not black).
It’s kind of similar in dimensions; Wayfair’s nightstand measures 22.8 inches tall, 15.7 inches wide and 11.8 inches deep. The main difference between these two is that they have different leg styles. Instead of thin, slanted legs, Wayfair’s nightstand has thick, cylindrical legs that are straight. But it also has one shelf inside that makes two separate storage compartments.

Hefilesy Rattan Single Door Bedside Cabinet Burlywood – 2-Pcs, $175 at Walmart

Lastly, Walmart also has a similar cabinet with the Hefilesy Rattan Single Door Bedside Cabinet in Burlywood. This one sells for $175 for a set of two (so $87.50 each). They’re the same design as Aldi’s as well and have a rattan door. It measures 19.88 inches tall, 18.5 inches wide and 7.87 inches deep. The handle is a bit different, and they have straight legs. But, the vibes are nearly the same.
If you want a new accent table or side table without paying a ton of money, Aldi’s upcoming SOHL Furniture Accent Side Table is worth checking out.
