With the new year just a few days away, getting organized is a top priority for many individuals. If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to store extra books, dishware or keepsakes, Aldi has you covered! This coming week, they are offering a beautiful accent cabinet that’s both stylish and functional. Best of all, it’s similar to West Elm and World Market styles up to 17x the price.
From January 1-7, Aldi will be selling their SOHL Furniture Accent Cabinet for $69.99. It’ll be located in the Aldi Aisle section of their U.S. stores for a limited time only.

SOHL Furniture Accent Cabinet, $69.99 at Aldi
There’s a lot to love about this accent cabinet from Aldi. It features a natural (wood-like) finish, two rattan-style doors and a single handle in the front, which gives it a modern yet stylish design. This piece also features a flat-top surface and four angled legs, which help prevent it from tipping over, even when fully stocked with your belongings.
With its heavy-duty design, this cabinet works well in kitchens, living rooms, hallways and entryways. It’s also perfect for storing (and concealing) books, photos and other miscellaneous items from view. With its beautiful color, this one-of-a-kind piece is sure to add a decorative focal point to your home.
Lofted Rattan & Wood Buffet, $1,199 at West Elm
Aldi’s accent cabinet is incredibly similar to the Lofted Rattan & Wood Buffet. It’s currently $1,199 at West Elm and comes in an oak veneer with a black finish. Like the Aldi version, this cabinet features double rattan doors, a single handle and four sturdy legs. When completed, it measures approximately 37.5 inches wide, 18.75 inches deep and 32.5 inches tall.
The biggest difference between these two cabinets is their size and materials. In contrast to the Aldi product, this one appears to be slightly smaller but is comprised of kiln-dried wood and cane, which give it a slight edge regarding durability. The legs are also straight and are constructed from solid iron (with a gold finish). This provides maximum stability even when fully loaded. As an added bonus, it even comes with two storage compartments and an adjustable shelf on the inside.
Harleen Wood and Cane Storage Cabinet, $349.99 at World Market
Another similar product is the Harleen Wood and Cane Storage Cabinet from World Market. It’s currently $349.99 and comes in two distinct colors: black and espresso. Like the Aldi version, this cabinet is quite durable and features two rattan cane doors, arched legs (for maximum stability) and sleek metal hardware, which offers a unique contrast to the surrounding wood. When fully constructed, this piece measures approximately 28.7 inches wide, 13.5 inches deep and 30 inches tall. In total, it weighs nearly 37.1 lbs.
The primary difference between these cabinets is their materials. While the Aldi version appears to be constructed from imitation wood, the World Market piece is made of solid wood and cane. Given the vast difference in price, though, this is to be expected. As an added bonus, it also features two large compartments with a fixed shelf in the middle.
Rovaurx Rattan Storage Cabinet, $69.99 on Amazon
Finally, there’s also this Rovaurx Rattan Storage Cabinet from Amazon. It’s currently $69.99 and comes in a natural wood color. Like the Aldi version, it features two rattan-style doors, four angled legs and a flat-top surface for extra storage. It’s also made from particleboard and measures approximately 29.5 inches long, 15.7 inches wide and 33.5 inches tall.
Of the cabinets we’ve looked at so far, this one resembles the Aldi product the most (in terms of its color and design). However, there are a few subtle differences that are worth noting. For starters, this cabinet features two handles in the front instead of one and comes with two interior shelves. As an added bonus, this cabinet also includes an “anti-toppling” device that’s located in the back. This provides it with extra stability, keeping you and your loved ones safe in the process.
Despite these subtle differences, though, there’s no denying the similarities between all these cabinets. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to store your extra belongings, Aldi’s SOHL Furniture Accent Cabinet is an incredible deal!
