Aldi Is Selling a Stylish Storage Ottoman Similar to Pottery Barn and Wayfair Styles up to 32x the Price

Household items that are not just aesthetically pleasing but useful as well are the best kinds of items. Whether they have multiple uses or double as storage or an organization tool, home decor and furniture that are just as cute as they are sensible are always a win. And Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds drop includes a storage ottoman that not only fits in with many aesthetics but is also similar to Pottery Barn and Wayfair styles up to 32 times the price.

From January 8-14, Aldi will be selling the SOHL Furniture Rectangular Foldable Storage Ottoman for $19.99 in the Aldi Finds aisle of their local U.S. stores. The fabric-covered ottoman is a pretty sizable rectangle box that has a large bottom compartment for storage. The tufted top lid is cushioned with two buttons for design purposes. It measures 30.71 inches long, 14.96 inches wide and 14.96 inches tall. And as one of the photos shows, it can hold a throw blanket or two along with some throw pillows. This can also be good for magazines and coffee table books.

SOHL Furniture Rectangular Foldable Storage Ottoman, $19.99 at Aldi

This ottoman also comes in three colors: blue, beige and gray. The blue has a visibly textured fabric and slightly looks like denim because it’s blue/navy. The beige and gray colors both have the same texture. And as its name states, it’s foldable, which is nice if you ever need to make room and store this away somewhere. 

On top of all that, it has a 240 lb weight capacity, making it ideal not just for resting your feet on, but can also serve as a seat, too.

Lonni Upholstered Ottoman – Ebern Designs, $136.99 at Wayfair

As we mentioned before, this Aldi storage ottoman is very similar to the Lonni Upholstered Ottoman by Ebern Designs, which is currently $136.99 at Wayfair. It has nearly the same design, with a large rectangular bottom compartment that has seams on the short ends and a cushioned lid on top. It also has tufted buttons for design, except this one has six while Aldi’s just has two.

This one measures 15 inches tall, 30 inches wide and 15 inches deep, and they seem like they could roughly be the same size. Wayfair also notes that it can hold up to 660 lbs. Just like Aldi’s this ottoman is also foldable. It can hold up to 300 lbs and measures 39.5 inches wide and deep and 20 inches tall.

Presley Rectangular Upholstered Storage Ottoman, $499-$649 at Pottery Barn

Lastly, there’s the Presley Rectangular Upholstered Storage Ottoman at Pottery Barn. It costs between $499-$649, depending on what color or fabric you choose. It’s the same concept and nearly the same design; it has a large, rectangular bottom compartment for storage and a cushioned lid that sits on top.

This one has a smooth top and tiny little feet (though at first glance it looks like it goes all the way to the floor like Aldi’s does. It measures 40 inches wide, 30 inches deep and 18.75 inches tall and can hold up to 300 lbs.

So if you’re interested in an ottoman to put your feet up on that also holds household goodies when you’re not using them, then Aldi’s SOHL Furniture Rectangular Foldable Storage Ottoman is worth checking out. Plus, with how much it looks like more expensive products out there, it’s a decent deal.
