If you had told me a few years ago I’d find my new favorite outfit at Aldi, I would have looked at you like you had six heads. But Aldi’s fashion game gets better every day, with spot-on Ugg dupes, plus cutesy pajamas and really stylish joggers.
With their next drop, Aldi is taking things up a notch with a Serra Ladies Jumpsuit for just $16.99 and I think it’s going to be an instant fan favorite.

The jumpsuit is offered in a pretty blue shade as well as a basic black, with the neckline featuring a classic crewneck styling. There’s a drawstring waist which is perfect for cinching in to give it a fitted look just right for each individual body. The pant portion is a full leg situation, so a little loose but in a cute way.
Serra Ladies Jumpsuit in Blue, $16.99 at Aldi
It’s almost like your absolute favorite sweater, but make it full-length and chic. And did I mention it has pockets? Because, yes, pockets are absolutely in play here. Thank you, Aldi.
Now because the Serra jumpsuit is a blend of 47% Modal, 46% Polyester and 7% Spandex, you get the best of three different worlds. Modal keeps the feel buttery soft and breathable, Polyester adds durability and shape retention, while Spandex brings stretch for all-day comfort. All of this results in a lightweight and wrinkle-resistant piece that you’re probably going to live in. So maybe buy both colors.

Aldi’s jumpsuit is a dead-ringer for a sold-out version
Because finding dupes is so much fun, I discovered that Aldi’s Serra jumpsuit is a riff on an extremely popular Old Navy piece that cost more than twice as much and actually sold out.
Waist-Defined Wide-Leg French-Terry Jumpsuit for Women, $39.99 at Old Navy (sold out)
The main difference between the two jumpsuits is the material—with the Old Navy version being a French Terry fabric and the Aldi look made from Modal, Polyester and Spandex. And from looks alone, the Old Navy jumpsuit clearly has short sleeves as opposed to Aldi’s long-sleeved version. But otherwise the idea is very much the same—stylish, pull-on comfort you can wear anywhere.
How to wash
One of the first things I do when I’m about to buy any article of clothing is check the washing instructions, because I have a love-hate relationship with dry cleaning. Fortunately for the Aldi’s Serra Jumpsuit, you can wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry on low (or air dry to be extra safe). The biggest thing is to avoid high heat, which can damage stretch.
