West Elm’s best-selling Picket Rail Hook is beloved for its unique, craftsman-style look that feels sleek, modern and functional all at once. Of course, $55 for a wall hook is definitely not considered cheap and might not be within everyone’s budget. Luckily, Aldi will be dropping a lookalike next week as part of its weekly selection of new Aldi Finds.
Just like West Elm’s rendition, Aldi’s Kirkton House Retractable Wall Hook comes in two colors–either dark brown or a light natural tone–and retails for just $9.99. And just like West Elm, Kirkton House’s Retractable Wall Hook features five retractable hooks. This means the hooks will retract and not stick out when not in use. It makes the wall hooks look like a beautiful piece of art when not in use.

Kirkton House’s Retractable Wall Hook comes equipped with hanging hardware, so it’ll be a breeze to install wherever you please. While this would be a great piece to hang in an entryway, it’s also a versatile storage solution that would work in your kitchen, clothes closet, bathroom, home office, or wherever else you see fit!

Aldi’s wall hook has dimensions similar to West Elm’s. While West Elm’s measures 15.5 inches in length, two inches in width, and 6six inches in height, Aldi’s measures 15 inches in length, 1.5 inches in width, and 6.3 inches in height. The sizes are comparable, further evidence of the dupe allegations.
One difference between Aldi’s Kirkton House Retractable Wall Hook and West Elm’s Picket Rail Hook is the shape of the hooks themselves. Aldi’s individual hooks are more square, while West Elm’s are more round and cylindrical. However, the vibe is still very much the same.
If you are interested in picking up Aldi’s West Elm dupe, you can find it in select Aldi stores starting next week. It will hit Aldi’s center aisles shelves on Jan. 21–27, or while supplies last. Just be warned that Aldi Finds go fast; if you love it, it is always wise to snag it as soon as you possibly can!
