On January 15, 2025, HVS Brokerage & Advisory announced the sale of the Alister Square Inn, a 50-room hotel in Port Aransas, Texas. Bhavani Investments, LP, a company based in Corpus Christi, Texas, purchased the property from Alister Square Inn, Ltd.

The Alister Square Inn, built in 1997, is strategically situated in Port Aransas, close to many leisure and corporate demand generators. The hotel’s location offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico beaches, making it an attractive choice for leisure travelers. The area also features various tourist attractions like the Port Aransas Museum, Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center, Red Dragon Pirate Cruises, Dolphin Dock Charters, and Roberts Point Park.

The oil and gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries of the nearby Corpus Christi market additionally support the Port Aransas economy. In recent years, the local economy has shown a growing interest in renewable energy, aviation, marine, medical, and information technology sectors.
