Heartopia‘s second major season, “Dreamlight Cinematics,” has begun, running from March 21 until May 2. As usual with these six-week seasons, there are limited-time bugs, fish, flowers, birds, and food recipes to make to earn event currency. As you collect these items, you’ll unlock exclusive rewards, like furnishing recipes, and even limited-time Exhibition Passes.
Based on what we know from the last season, these exclusive collectibles will become completely unavailable once the event ends, so make sure you take the time to grab what you want now.
Below, we list all the available insects, fish, cooking recipes, ingredients, and flowers in Heartopia‘s “Dreamlight Cinematics” season.

Heartopia ‘Dreamlight Cinematics’ cooking recipes and ingredients
There are 21 cooking recipes as part of the “Dreamlight Cinematics” season, and you can buy most of them from Massimo, with the others being “secret” versions you get by using specific fruit or herbs.
Notably, this season adds special foraging herbs that you can find around the map. You’ll need to pluck several of these to make all the recipes:

Looks green and harmless, but carries a sharp, pungent aroma. |

Tall mustard |
|
Onsen Mountain (Ruins) |
Unrelated to garlic, yet it carries the pungent, spicy kick of both garlic and mustard greens. |

You can buy springday brown sugar and salsa sauce (50 gold each) from Massimo. Additionally, you’ll want to grow romaine lettuce to make the bulk of the food. You can buy romaine lettuce seeds from Blanc for 10 gold each, and they take 15 minutes to grow.
Once you have an inventory full of ingredients, you can make the plethora of recipes available as part of this season. You can only cook these during this season using the popcorn serving cart item.

Heartopia ‘Dreamlight Cinematics’ flower and flower breeding combinations
In addition to the items above, you can also plant dandelions for a limited time during this event. Dandelions come in a few colors, but you’ll need to crossbreed these flowers to get most of them.
You start off with red dandelions, yellow dandelions, and white dandelions, with the seeds being purchasable from Blanc for 30 gold each.
So far, we’ve been able to crossbreed the following:
- Red dandelion + white dandelion = pink dandelion
- Red dandelion + yellow dandelion = orange dandelion
We’re still working out the rest, but the dandelions come in a plethora of other colors: black, peach, purple, blue, and selene. We’ll update this guide with more crossbreeding combinations as we figure them out.
Heartopia ‘Dreamlight Cinematics’ bird locations
There will be five event-exclusive birds, but that part of the event hasn’t started yet. These birds will likely show up as part of Week 2 of the event, on March 28. We’ll update this guide with the birds once they go live, and we can confirm them all.
