The Game Pass library continues to grow as Microsoft has shared which titles are coming to the subscription service in the back half of August 2025.
Gears of War: Reloaded launches Aug. 26 and will arrive day one on Game Pass. In a way, it’s a remaster of a remaster of the first Gears game, updating the 2015 Ultimate Edition with 4K resolution and 60 frames per second for its campaign (120 in multiplayer modes). Reloaded will include all the game’s previously released DLC for even more Locust-killing chainsaw action.
After disappointing sales, Dragon Age: The Veilguard comes to Game Pass on Aug. 28. It suffered from a turbulent development period, and being a sequel to a 10-year-old game no doubt factored in to its lack of sales success (despite being a pretty good game).
Persona 4 Golden heads to Game Pass on Aug. 20. The original game released on the PlayStation 2 in 2008, while Golden is an enhanced port of the game that first landed on Xbox in 2023. Just like with how Persona 3 received a recent remake, a remake of Persona 4 is in development.
Here’s everything hitting Game Pass by the end of the month:
- Blacksmith Master (Game Preview) (PC)
- Void/Breaker (PC)
- Heretic + Hexen (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Goat Simulator Remastered (Xbox Series X) – August 20
- Persona 4 Golden (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 20
- Herdling (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X) – August 21
- Gears of War: Reloaded (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X) – August 26
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X) – August 28
These titles follow the first wave of August Game Pass additions, which included Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, and more.
