Amazon Canada is starting to gear up for the holiday rush by hiring more than 9,000 employees across the country, and these Amazon warehouse jobs come with some seriously good perks.

The online retail giant is hiring for full-time, part-time and seasonal roles in its fulfillment centres, sortation centres and delivery stations. These Amazon careers include entry-level jobs like stowing, picking, packing, sorting and shipping orders.

In a press release on Thursday, Amazon said its average base wage in Canada is $22.25 per hour across its fulfillment and delivery network, making these jobs not only accessible but also competitive.

Employees can also count on guaranteed raises every six months in their first two years, as well as a suite of benefits that includes health coverage and a group RRSP plan. Plus, there are opportunities for paid language classes and career development programs, which means even seasonal roles could turn into long-term careers at Amazon.

In addition to jobs, Amazon is expanding its operations by opening five new delivery stations across B.C., Alberta and Ontario, promising to speed up deliveries during the busiest time of year and expanding its network to 65 different sites across Canada.

The positions will be posted in waves over the next few weeks, giving job seekers the perfect opportunity to snag a role at one of the country’s biggest employers. If you’re interested in applying, you can sign up for alerts on Amazon’s job site. That way, you’ll be among the first to know when positions open up near you.

This could be your chance to start an exciting new career and join a team that’s helping make holiday wishes come true!
