Amazon Prime Day Expands to Include Travel Deals

Amazon Prime Day introduces exclusive travel discounts on hotels, car rentals, and cruises

Amazon Prime Day, starting on July 8, will offer exclusive travel deals exclusively for Prime members. The event includes discounts on luxury hotel stays, car rentals, and cruise packages. Amazon has collaborated with brands such as Budget, Royal Caribbean, and Expedia to offer these deals.

Early access to some discounts is available, with travel essentials reduced by up to 88% and car rentals by up to 30%. Budget rentals also offer an additional 10% back in Amazon gift cards. This marks Amazon’s entry into the travel services market.

Hotel and Accommodation Discounts

Prime members can save up to 15% on hotels in Michigan and 10% on properties in San Diego and Myrtle Beach through Expedia. IHG One Rewards members receive up to 20% off select properties. Hotels.com offers OneKey members savings of up to 40%.

Cruise Offers

Royal Caribbean provides a 60% discount for second guests and a “kids sail free” promotion. Carnival Cruise Line offers rates starting at $80 per person per day.

Car Rental Deals

Budget offers up to 30% off base rates and 10% back in Amazon gift cards. Avis also provides up to 30% off base rates.

These deals require an Amazon Prime membership. Early offers are available now, with the main event running from July 8 to 11. Members must sign in with Amazon credentials on partner websites to access discounts.
