Last week’s episode of Survivor 47 produced a major power shift, sending one pair hurtling to the bottom, looking for any way out. But anyone who thought the new cross-tribal alliance of eight would stick together and pick off the stragglers was sorely mistaken. Genevieve chose to once again put a plan into motion, bringing together the numbers behind the scenes. But when that plan got leaked, it prompted last-minute scrambling at both camp and Tribal Council, with many names up in the air.

Who got voted off on Survivor 47 tonight?

Solomon “Sol” Yi

At the beginning of the game, Sol was left sol-itary when he was left out of the vote that took out his tightest ally Aysha. His position was not helped by his brewing rivalry with Rome, which culminated in him threatening (or “ultimatum-ing”) him to not play his Shot in the Dark. But Sol was spared by the machinations of Genevieve, who countered another secret plan with her own, bringing the two feuding men together. After getting his revenge on his rival at the merge, things were looking aces for the poker player. He had his Lavo allies, a secret relationship brewing with Rachel after he used an advantage to save her, and a new cross-tribal group. But Sol quickly learned that, if you live by Genevieve, you can also die by her. Looking to capitalize on some deep-seated self-proclaimed pettiness, she began to turn the former Tukus and Andy onto him. When word got back to Sol, his scrambling spread across multiple locations, as he tried desperately to get his troops in order to save him. Unfortunately, the “Sol-diers” did not make it to the front lines, and he was taken out unanimously.

Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 47 tonight?

No! But the episode was certainly twisty enough without trinkets involved. The castaways were asked to pair up before the challenge. They competed in those duos in the first two parts, with the final quartet winning reward and playing individually. Meanwhile, the first two duos eliminated in Andy, Caroline, Rachel, and Sam, were sent on a journey to play in a challenge to avoid losing their vote. Caroline was the ultimate loser, and could not vote at the next Tribal Council.
