In just a few weeks, Taylor Swift will grace Toronto with her presence as part of her record-breaking Eras Tour. To celebrate, Choir! Choir! Choir! founders Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman will lead an epic sing-along to one of Swift’s greatest hits each night for six nights, allowing Swifties to celebrate her upcoming takeover of the city!

These fully interactive, participatory shows will transform the audience into performers. The choir kicks off on October 28 with Swift’s 2008 hit “You Belong With Me,” followed by “I Knew You Were Trouble” (Oct. 29), “Shake It Off” (Oct. 30), “Cruel Summer” (Nov. 24), “Cardigan” (Nov. 25) and “Anti-Hero” (Nov. 26).

“Taylor Swift has an incredible way of uniting communities around the world through her music, and that’s something we’ve always strived to do with our sing-alongs,” Adilman said in a statement.

In 2011, Goldman and Adilman launched the concept of Choir! Choir! Choir! in Toronto as part of a weekly drop-in singing event, covering famous pop and rock songs. It has since evolved into equal parts singing comedy, and community-building — the duo now travels the globe to bring strangers together as part of giant choirs to sing the greatest songs of all time (all people have to do is show up and the duo will teach them their parts).

The duo has collaborated with renowned artists like Patti Smith, David Byrne, Brandi Carlile, Rufus Wainwright, and Kermit the Frog, creating memorable videos that generate millions of views. They even went viral for singing Never Gonna Give You Up alongside a crowd of 200 singers with pop legend Rick Astley in the basement of a Toronto pub!

“To be back in Toronto, where it all started, celebrating [Swift’s] songs with Torontonians in an intimate venue like Longboat Hall, feels like a full-circle moment for us. We can’t wait to dig into six songs in six nights and bring Swifties and music lovers together for a unique Choir! experience in the city we love” Goldman stated.

The sing-alongs will take place at Longboat Hall, 103 Dovercourt Rd (Basement Of Great Hall) at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Tickets are $19.89 plus taxes per person/per show. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, and attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, which will be collected and donated after the show.
