The Easy Days pop-up market is back at East Village RiverWalk Plaza, and it is one of those Calgary events that turns a quick walk into an accidental shopping spree.
This free market brings together local vendors, vintage finds, and handmade goods, making it very hard to browse and leave empty-handed, even if you told yourself you were “just looking.”
About the Easy Days pop-up market
The market launched in 2022 as a small, locally focused market and has since grown into a consistent seasonal event that brings Calgary’s creative community together in the heart of East Village.
This year, the market returns with multiple pop-up dates, including May 16, June 13, Aug. 15, and Sept. 19, giving people a few chances throughout the season to stop by and explore what’s new each time. Rather than being a one-time event, it’s designed to feel like an ongoing series, where the vendor lineup shifts, and the energy changes depending on the day you attend.
Run by All Things GQ, the market is accessible, community-driven, and free to attend.
You can usually find a mix of handmade ceramics, vintage clothing, art prints, jewellery, home goods, and small-batch items produced locally.
Not much planning is needed to attend this market, and that’s part of the appeal. It’s relaxed, easy to walk through, and makes you lose track of time in a good way.
