Ana Garcés and Tomy Aguilera Lead New Spanish Netflix Series Coming in 2026

Netflix has announced that filming has wrapped on Oasis, a new Spanish original series created by Ramón Campos, Jon de la Cuesta Olaizola, Javier Chacártegui Horrach, David Orea Arribas, and Ricardo Jornet Gallego. Set to release in 2026, the series is produced by Ramón Campos with executive production from Gema R. Neira, Jon de la Cuesta, and David Pinillos for Bambú Producciones.

Filmed in Tenerife, a small island off the west coast of Morocco, the new series follows a seemingly idyllic luxury resort where wealthy families spend the summer in total exclusivity. But when the police arrive to investigate a mysterious disappearance, the paradise quickly fractures. With no one allowed to leave the property, suspicion spreads, loyalties shift, and the truth becomes harder to hide.

Ramón Campos, producer of the series, said (translated into English): “When we began Oasis, I told the Netflix team that I wanted to make a show for my daughters, who are 14. A story about what they’re living right now: friendship, secrets, doubts, and the first decisions that begin to define who you are. The mystery is just the vehicle. Oasis is my way of saying: I see you, I understand this moment, and I want to tell a story that speaks to you.”

Executive producer Gema R. Neira added (again, translated to English): “It’s beautiful to work with such a young, talented, and enthusiastic cast. Watching them grow and enjoy the experience is a gift. And they’re surrounded by established actors who bring a more adult counterpoint. It’s the ideal cast for a project that blends aspirational drama with thriller elements.”

Bambú Producciones has been one of Netflix’s most productive partners in Spain since it entered the market over a decade ago. On their upcoming slate, the production company is working on a new film by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo and a new true-crime drama series called El Crimen de Pazos (The Crime of Pazos).
