Minor Hotels has announced the signing of Anantara Perth Hotel, marking the introduction of the Anantara Hotels & Resorts brand to Australia with a planned opening in 2032.
Minor Hotels has signed an agreement to open Anantara Perth Hotel, introducing the Anantara Hotels & Resorts brand to Australia. The property is planned as part of the Burswood Point masterplanned development in Perth, with an anticipated opening in 2032. The hotel is being developed by Golden Sedayu, a partnership between Golden Group of Perth and Agung Sedayu.
The planned Anantara Perth Hotel will be located on the Swan River waterfront and is expected to feature 150 guest rooms and suites. Facilities at the hotel are set to include two restaurants, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and an Anantara Spa.
The Burswood Point development, where the hotel will be situated, is valued at AUD $3.8 billion. The site is located near Perth’s central business district and is accessible to both domestic and international airports.
Anantara Perth Hotel will join Minor Hotels’ portfolio in Australia, which includes properties under the Oaks Hotels & Resorts and Avani Hotels & Resorts brands. The Anantara brand has more than 50 properties globally.
