Andy Cohenis sharing how, what may be considered, one of the greatest comebacks in Bravo came to be.

Following the announcement that Carole Radziwill will be returning to the Real Housewives of New York, the Bravo exec divulged on his radio show just how it all happened.

“I think I took her out for coffee in December or January and proposed that she be a ‘Friend,'” he recalled, referencing the part time role she’ll be taking. “She was very analytical.”

Radziwill, who appeared on Seasons 5-10, left the show in 2018, happens to have ties to current cast mates may have help her connect to the show today.

“She’s gotten to be pals with Erin [Lichy] and [her husband] Abe,” Cohen mentioned. “Like they actually are legitimate friends.”

However, the talk show host also noted that he wasn’t fully convinced Radziwill would rejoin the show after their meeting.

“After that coffee, I honestly thought it was a 50/50 chance that she was going to do it,” he said. “And I was so glad that she did.”
