Applications Open for 2026 Mike Dimond Student Career Success Scholarship from HSMAI Foundation

The HSMAI Foundation has opened applications for the 2026 Mike Dimond Student Career Success Scholarship, which will award $2,000 scholarships to three hospitality students, along with conference registration and mentorship.

The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Foundation is accepting applications for the 2026 Mike Dimond Student Career Success Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to three hospitality students in 2026. Each recipient will receive a $2,000 scholarship, complimentary registration to an HSMAI conference, and a mentorship with an industry leader.

The scholarship is named after Mike Dimond, who held senior leadership roles in hotel marketing, including Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Dimond was recognized as a member of the HSMAI Hall of Fame and was named among “The 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality & Travel.”

Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-seeking hospitality program and submit a completed application form, resume, and written statement. Candidates will be evaluated by members of the HSMAI Foundation Board based on their interest in a career in hospitality sales, marketing, revenue management, or distribution, as well as industry work experience and submission materials. Preference will be given to HSMAI Student Members.
