Spanish Tapas Party
The Spanish Tapas Party runs from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. During that time you can enjoy a rotating selection of Ibérico charcuterie and freshly carved Jamón Ibérico. Both are available freely throughout the night. There is also Live Master Ham Carving, samples created by the participating chefs and a variety of live entertainment. Drinks are available for purchase, including of course Spanish wines!
Participants at the Spanish Tapas Party are encouraged to “embrace relaxed elegance.” The dress code is smart casual with a Flamenco twist (which means flowy dresses, linen shirts, red lips, bold accessories, vibrant colors or whatever you like, so long as it doesn’t involve sportswear, flip flops or overly casual attire).
All Night Journey
After the Spanish Tapas Party wraps up, there is the All Night Journey which is for adults ages 19+. It runs from around 8:30 pm until 1:30 am (so late at night, like a typical Spanish or Latin party, although those often run until even later).
The All Night Journey is a social, high-energy standing event designed for mingling, food tasting, drinking and dancing. At this event you can expect samples of signature dishes from some of Vancouver’s top chefs. They include tastes of Chef Giuseppe Cortinovis’ Jamon Ibérico Pizza, Chef Alex Chen’s Iberico Xiao Long Bao, and Chef Hiroshi Hoshiko’s Iberico Sushi. Chef Kevin Orozco from Vancouver’s La Mezcaleria restaurant will also be there with his Spanish Chorizo Tacos.
