Ariel Winter Revealed She’s Living With Her ‘Modern Family’ Costar Following Her Breakup

Ariel Winter has a new roommate, but she didn’t have to look too far. It’s her former Modern Family co-star, Nolan Gould!

Winter, 28, rose to stardom in the rose of Alex Dunphy on the hit ABC series, which ran from 2009 to 2020. In a new interview with PEOPLE, the star, who is splitting her time between California and Nashville following her breakup from boyfriendLuke Benward, shared that she’s living with Gould, who rose to fame as the goofy youngest member of the Dunphy family, Luke.

“It’s funny because I spend more time out here now and I rent a house with Nolan,” Winter explained. “People ask me about a Modern Family reboot, but Nolan and I are real roommates now. So it’s like we’re having our own little Modern Family reboot, but it’s just the two of us living together. So I see him every day.”

The actress went on to say that they’re having a great time together, living like the rest of us non-famous normals do.

“I’m not gonna lie, when we sit there at night and we watch, like, Temptation Island together, it’s pretty hilarious. So we have thought about it,” she continued, explaining what the duo does while hanging out together. “We’re just like, people would find this really funny.”

Winter Revealed She and Luke Benward Split After 6 Years Together

Winter and actor Benward starting dating in 2019, but decided to call it quits in 2025. In the comments section on PEOPLE’s above post, Winter chimed in to make it clear that the duo are still on great terms, despite the breakup. They’re even committed to raising their dogs together.

“He’s still one of my best friends, a great human being and a great pup coparent,” she commented under the PEOPLE Instagram post on May 14. “Just because sometimes people aren’t meant to be doesn’t mean you don’t still appreciate the time spent and retain the friendship you shared. Still a big luke fan over here!!!”
