Auberge Resorts Collection is renowned for its portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts, and residences. As the first Italian property of the collection, Collegio alla Querce marks an exciting expansion for the brand. The property, which rests on a hillside in Florence, offers unrivaled views of the city’s UNESCO-celebrated Centro Storico. The hotel successfully combines the tranquility of a Tuscan country estate with the charm of an urban retreat, providing both locals and visitors a fresh perspective on the region’s cultural heritage.

The property has a rich history and was once a center of learning for more than 100 years. The Esteva i Esteva architectural firm oversaw its transformation into a contemporary 83-room hotel. Analjit Singh, the owner and founder of the Leeu Collection, has realized the property’s vision.

The hotel offers breathtaking vistas of Tuscany’s rolling hills and the Renaissance city’s architectural wonders. Florentine interior designers ArchFlorence meticulously designed the guest rooms and suites, as well as the dining and drinking venues. The hotel also features a bar, Bar Bertelli, located in the former principal’s office.

The hotel offers a fresh perspective on time-honored culinary traditions, providing imaginative cuisine across its four dining and drinking venues. The hotel’s Auberge Spa, Aelia, offers a unique wellness experience rooted in nature and luxurious, high-performing products made from sustainably sourced ingredients.

The hotel offers a range of personal experiences designed to unveil the city’s best-kept secrets and connect family and friends. These experiences range from chef-led cooking classes, unique cocktail mixology experiences, to immersive perfume experiences where guests can craft their own bespoke fragrance.

The hotel also serves as an excellent setting for special events, with its picture-postcard views of Florence, historic buildings, and a garden redolent of the Tuscan countryside. The property’s unique venues offer elegant spaces for every occasion, both indoors and out.

This opening signifies the expansion of Auberge Resorts Collection in urban and European markets. Collegio alla Querce will soon be joined by Cambridge House, Auberge Resorts Collection in Mayfair, London, set to open in late 2025.
