AUDITION NOTICE – THE THEATRE
The Boss of It All
by Lars von Trier, adapted by Jack McNamara
Directed by Abagail Vanmerlin and Jakob Schaefer
The owner of an IT firm wants to sell his company. The only trouble is, when he started his firm, he invented a non-existent company president to hide behind when unpopular steps needed to be taken. When a potential buyer insists on negotiating with the “Boss”, face-to-face, the owner decides to hire a failed actor to play the part. The actor suddenly discovers he is a pawn in a much larger web of lies.
