Casting Equity and non-equity actors for the world premiere of the award-winning play Alex & Michael & Hannah at the Edmonton Fringe:
Hannah, white, late 30s, a financial analyst for oilfield business. Straight, cisgender, female. On the heavier side. Lower self-esteem, but getting better.
Alex, ethnically diverse, mid-30’s a nightclub manager. Bisexual, cisgender, male. Nice-looking, utterly charming, almost despairingly honest.
Michael, ethnically diverse, edging 30, a model and server. Gay, cisgender, male. Gratuitously handsome, cute, loud, irrepressible.
Kathy, white, also close to 30, Hannah’s sister. Marginally employed. Straight, cisgender, female. Engaged to be married, and looking forward to being a homemaker and mom. So pretty that she’s average.
The production will have an intimacy and fight coordinator. The play contains queer themes, polyamory, strong language, sexual content, and one brief violent scene.

Auditions will be at the Orange Hub (exact studio TBA), 10045 – 156 Street NW, Edmonton, on March 7, 10 am-1 pm; and March 9, 4-7 pm.
Callbacks will be in the Orange Hub on March 14, 10 am to noon.
Rehearsals will be from May to August, also at the Orange Hub.
The show will have approximately 6 performances from August 13 – 23, 2026, at a Fringe lottery venue, exact dates and times TBA (likely June).
