🕯️ ABOUT THE SHOW
The Séance Experience is an intimate, immersive theatrical horror event set within a fully enclosed recreation of a decaying Victorian parlor. Each 20-minute performance is led by a single actor—The Medium—who guides a small group of guests through a chilling séance involving scripted narrative, ghostly illusions, demonic lore, and improvised interaction.

This is not a haunted house or theme park attraction. It is a grounded, theatrical performance designed to feel unnervingly real. Guests are seated around a carved séance table as they are drawn into the Medium’s world—a world shaped by grief, ritual, and a darkness that refuses to stay buried.

👤 ROLE DETAILS
Full-Time & Part-Time (Seasonal Contract)
Character: The Medium (Solo Role)
Open To: All genders, ages 18+

Each actor selected for the role will create their own unique version of the Medium, using a provided set of character-building guidelines. The goal is to craft a performance that feels personal, unsettling, and psychologically believable. Performers will work closely with the Creative Director to shape a character that plays to their strengths while staying grounded in the world of the show.

Multiple actors will be cast in this solo role, and performances will be rotated between performers throughout the run. This allows for flexible scheduling and keeps each Medium’s interpretation distinct while maintaining consistency across the experience.

🎭 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– Strong memorization and performance ability (scripted monologue)
– Comfort with in-character improvisation and audience interaction
– Ability to perform solo, repeatedly—up to 16 short shows per night
– A compelling stage presence that can unnerve and mesmerize
– Comfort performing in low light, close quarters, and disturbing themes
– Experience with immersive theatre, horror, or villain roles is a plus

Rehearsals & Run:
September 19 – November 1, 2025
Primarily evenings (shifts run until midnight)

💰 COMPENSATION
This is a paid performance role.
Rates will be based on experience and availability.
Final compensation will be discussed with selected applicants.
