Autograph Collection Hotels has announced the opening of Donoma Las Terrenas Beach Resort & Spa on the Samaná Peninsula in the Dominican Republic.
Autograph Collection Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, has opened the Donoma Las Terrenas Beach Resort & Spa on the Samaná Peninsula in the northeastern Dominican Republic. The new resort, situated along a beach in the area, features 94 accommodations, including private villas designed to integrate indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The resort was developed by owners Edward González and Georgette Almanzar, with architectural design by GVA under the direction of Carlos Aguilar. Interior design was led by Liza Ortega of Ortega Arquitectos, with a focus on neutral tones and natural materials. The design incorporates local artwork and materials to reflect the cultural elements of Las Terrenas.
Donoma Las Terrenas offers various dining options, including SolMarella, an all-day dining venue that transitions into a steakhouse in the evening. The menu features a selection of local and international dishes, with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Additional dining options include Splash, offering a casual menu, and Sunset, serving a coastal menu.
The resort also features the Arena Sense Spa, which includes four treatment suites and offers wellness programs using indigenous ingredients. The property includes flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for events, including weddings, with options for garden and beachfront settings.
The opening of Donoma Las Terrenas Beach Resort & Spa adds to the portfolio of Autograph Collection Hotels, which includes over 330 independent hotels worldwide.
