Not only is Vernon home to some of the most beautiful, snowy trails in all of Canada, but the quaint mountain city is also near a beloved holiday tradition that’s as whimsical and fun as they come. If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to step inside a Shakespearean adventure, Caravan Farm Theatre has a vibrant winter production that you have to check out.
A magical horse-drawn sleigh ride
Inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the 37th Annual Winter Sleigh Ride Show is a magical experience that transports guests to the world of mischief and enchantment of the famous Shakespearean comedy, taking them on a snowy one-hour journey as fairies, royals and wandering thespians tell the reimagined story.
From the snowy path underneath you to the stars above you, this experience is a beloved Okanagan holiday tradition, and includes a crackling fire, live music, hot cider, and Okanagan Spirits Pear Brandy.
The lively interpretation of the classic comedy features playful pranks, poetry, and an enchanting musical score that ties it all together. So get ready to cozy up and experience a time-honoured tale for yourself.
Located on an 80-acre farm just outside of Armstrong, the theatrical journey is expected to sell out sooner rather than later. So time is of the essence if you want to snag tickets!
General admission is priced at $73.50 per adult and $57.75 per youth.
